Yippee for me!

So, if I can wait just a couple more days, I can start running again on Monday! WHOO HOO! I did go to the gym on Thursday, and I am totally out of shape. But, that's ok....I'll get back on track soon enough. I can't believe I'm so stoked about this! I'll let you know how it goes......should be interesting...

One more week!

I only have one more week before I can start running again! So, I think I'm just going to start walking at the gym this week, to get my body prepped. I honestly can't wait! I really didn't realize how much I would miss it, how much I would miss my heart pounding, the sweating, the thrill of going just a little further...

But, I'm sure I'll sprain something or pull a muscle, so stay tuned!

Not being able to run is so frustrating!

On March 24th, I can start running again....and let me tell you, that day can't arrive too soon! I really do miss running. I miss strapping on my Nike's, stretching out...feeling a burn and then taking off. Normally, it's on a treadmill, but that's ok. That allows me to people watch and not worry about getting run over.

So...I just had to vent for a minute. One day at a time...

I've decided to run

I've always enjoyed running....the feeling of the wind in my hair...knowing that I'm doing something good for my health. But, admittedly, I do NOT like the feeling of the fat around my hips and stomach flopping up and down with each stride I make! Not a groovy feeling! But, I know that it will eventually go away. And, I'm sure I'm not the only one who has felt that either.

On a side note, I've had to stop running for a couple weeks while I'm going through a detox/purification process. So far, it's going pretty good, but I can't wait to get back out there with my cute Nikes and feel my heart start beating a little stronger, pushing myself just a bit more....
